The Air Mini+ comes with all of the benefits of the Molekule Air Mini model but has new tech features that advance air purification one step further. Like the Air Mini, the Air Mini+ uses Molekule’s powerful PECO technology to destroy common air pollutants such as pollen, dander, and VOCs. Both devices are designed for rooms of up to 250 square feet and are small and portable, making them easy to take with you from room to room. The Air Mini+ is 12 inches tall and 8.26 inches in diameter and weighs a little over 7 pounds. It features a vegan leather handle and retails at $499. Featuring New Tech Specs
The Air Mini+ has two enhanced tech features that were developed in response to high customer demand: a particle sensor and Auto Protect Mode. These smart features work together seamlessly to give you more insight into what makes up your indoor air and provide the most efficient operation.
The particle sensor inside the Air Mini+ can detect the amount of particulate matter in the room in which it operates. When Auto Protect Mode is enabled, the Air Mini+ will automatically adjust its fan speed based on how much particulate matter it senses in the air. There are five total fan speeds (silent, low, medium, high, and boost) that correlate with a light at the top of the device that is illuminated in corresponding colors to indicate how much particulate matter is detected. For example, the green light indicates a low number of particles in the room, while a purple light indicates a high number of particles.
These new features mean that the Air Mini+ can respond to real-time air quality conditions to reduce and destroy indoor air pollutants.
Molekule’s Groundbreaking PECO Technology Explained
Molekule pioneered PECO technology, reinventing the way we purify air. The innovative technology was developed over 20 years by research scientists and works at the molecular level to destroy airborne pollutants. PECO-Filter technology can destroy microscopic pollutants at 0.1 nanometers, including gaseous ones like VOCs, without producing any harmful byproducts like ozone.
All Molekule air purifiers contain low-energy UV-A lights that shine on a nanocatalyst-coated PECO-Filter, which initiates an oxidation reaction that produces hydroxyl molecules. These hydroxyl molecules work to destroy pollutants on the surface of the filter as air passes through. This process effectively reduces harmful indoor particle pollutants and is unlike any other air purification method on the market today.
