Easy on the Heat

When a person uses a hairdryer or other hot tools it can lead to a lot of damage to the hair. The hair can become dry and it can break. Too much heat can make the hair weak. This will lead to frizz and damage. If a person is going to use a hairdryer they should keep it at least 6 inches away from their hair and move it around. The heating tools should be used one or two times a week to prevent further damage.

Use Vitamins

Some vitamins can help give the hair what it needs. A person can increase their intake of specific foods or they can take supplements. Vitamin B is found in egg yolk and nuts. Vitamin C is found in many types of fruits. These vitamins can make the hair stronger and healthy looking. These vitamins can make sure that the hair gets all of the nutrients that it needs.

Easy with the Shampoo

The shampoo is designed to clean the hair but it can do a little damage if it is used daily. The shampoo will strip the natural oils from the hair. This will lead to the hair drying out. It is recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology to wash the hair two or three times a week. Most people use too much shampoo. Only a quarter sized amount of shampoo is needed to clean the scalp and the hair.

Massage the Scalp

This will not only feel good but it will help the hair become shiny and healthy. Massaging the scalp will increase blood circulation around the head and the body. This will help boost the health of the scalp. It will also increase the flow of blood to the hair follicles and this will allow the hair to become healthy as it is growing. All it takes is a 4 minute scalp massage daily to increase the thickness of hair. This can be done when the hair is wet or dry.

Protein Mask

To make the hair strong and healthy a simple protein mask can be made. An egg yolk can be mixed with 4 tablespoons of coconut oil. This can then be applied to the hair and allowed to sit for 15 minutes. The mixture should then be washed out and the hair will be healthy.
